Ava Gaulkin
Ava Gaulkin (she/her) is a mental health counselor. Ava’s passion is working with marginalized and under-represented communities. Most of Ava’s experience has been working closely with women, Black and Latinx/Latine, immigrants and first- and second-generation children and adults. Ava follows a person-centered approach to her practice, weaving in CBT, psychodynamic, play therapy and art therapy to best fit her clients’ needs. Ava also has experience working with trauma, grief, suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, OCD, interpersonal conflicts, and stress management. Ava has special interests working with children, adolescents, and those emerging into adulthood, and also with individuals and families experiencing trauma, grief, and anxiety.
