Madelyn Gonzalez
Madelyn Gonzalez (she/her) is an advanced graduate student therapist. Madelyn is Latina and has a deep passion for supporting first-generation, immigrant and queer communities by offering a compassionate, inclusive space where individuals can connect with their identities, heal from challenges, and empower their growth. Her professional experience includes working with children, adolescents, young adults, families, and individuals who have endured trauma, including torture and violence. She provides crisis intervention, emotional support, and culturally sensitive advocacy to help clients build resilience and connect with the resources they need. With a background in psychology and health nutrition from Brooklyn College, Madelyn is passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges in ways that feel approachable and meaningful. She approaches therapy with compassion and curiosity, using a person-centered and strength-based framework. Her focus is always on what is most important to the client, honoring their lived experiences and empowering them to pursue meaningful change. At the core Madelyn’s work is a deep belief in each person's capacity for self-agency: the ability to make intentional choices, define their path, and reclaim their story on their own terms. Madelyn is bilingual in Spanish and English.
